In the 19th century, Anglia Park provided recreation and entertainment for many military garrisons and residents of Kom\u00e1rno. In the music pavilion that once stood here, military bands gave concerts; one of the conductors of a military band was Franz Leh\u00e1r Sr. A copy of the pavilion is located in Europe Courtyard. As a memorial, the park contains a bust of King Ladislaus V the Posthumous of Hungary and Bohemia, who was born in the Kom\u00e1rno fortress.<\/p>\n
There is a children’s park for both small and large visitors, and there is a snack bar in a small house.<\/p>\n
