In its grounds, in a common grave, rest the remains of Anton Bernol\u00e1k, his successor, parson \u0160tefan Laur\u043e, and the merchant and founder of the girls&#8217; institute Michal Flenger. Around 1890, parson J\u00e1n Fabi\u00e1n had them reburied there after exhumation. In 1937 a memorial plaque was added to the grave.<\/p>\n<p>Bernol\u00e1k Square is named after Anton Bernol\u00e1k, who lived and worked here from 1797 until his death in 1813.
