It was bought from them in 1899 by István Kobek, and in 1905 it was acquired by Dr. Kálmán Fodor and his wife Countess Jozefína Berchtold; from 1910, Dr. Tibor Weszely and his wife Baroness Jeanne Baich lived here. In 1917, the estate and mansion were bought by the Budapest industrialist Gustáv Láng, who had the building remodelled in Art Nouveau style and unified. Láng used the building as a summer residence. The estate and mansion were confiscated in 1945, and since 1953 it has housed the boarding facility of the Secondary Agricultural School. The original mansion consisted of two single-storey L-shaped buildings whose two main courtyard-facing façades were connected by a wooden pillared corridor. Gustáv Láng unified the entire mansion through reconstruction, turning the original single-storey water tower into the entrance structure as well. An additional upper storey was added only in the 1950s, essentially preserving the original architecture. The smooth façades are articulated by rectangular windows in window surrounds with three keystones, and the corners are decorated with rustication. The park façade features a shallow corner projection, while the courtyard façade has a central projection topped with a triangular gable. Part of the park façade with the former terrace is crowned by a flat attic decorated with dentils. The courtyard of the mansion contains a stylish utility building and a stone wellhead from the last quarter of the 19th century.

[108
116
post-1402","zaujimavost","type-zaujimavost","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","kategoria-programov-with-culture","obec-kravany-nad-dunajom
["GET
