It is first mentioned in 1208.<\/p>\n<p>Mo\u010da, in the Kom\u00e1rno district, has 1,100 inhabitants. It is located between \u0160t\u00farovo and Kom\u00e1rno. It belongs to the oldest settled areas in Slovakia \u2013 its territory was already inhabited in the Neolithic. The village was traditionally agricultural, with fishing on the Danube also playing an important role. In the Middle Ages it belonged to the Kom\u00e1rno estate and was devastated several times during the Turkish wars. Despite this, it preserved its identity and cultural traditions.
