In the 19th century, Anglia Park provided recreation and entertainment for many military garrisons and residents of Komárno. In the music pavilion that once stood here, military bands gave concerts; one of the conductors of a military band was Franz Lehár Sr. A copy of the pavilion is located in Europe Courtyard. As a memorial, the park contains a bust of King Ladislaus V the Posthumous of Hungary and Bohemia, who was born in the Komárno fortress.
There is a children’s park for both small and large visitors, and there is a snack bar in a small house.
There is also a small educational trail that introduces the characteristic flora and fauna of the park on 4 panels.
