The Kováčov Hills are located 5 km from Štúrovo. They are among the lesser-known mountain ranges, but nevertheless offer opportunities for beautiful trips and hiking in unspoiled nature. The red-marked route provides beautiful views of Esztergom and the Pilis Mountains in Hungary. There are two national nature reserves in the Kováčov Hills: Burda (or Kováčov Hills – South) and Leliansky Les (or Kováčov Hills – North). The slopes of the Kováčov Hills are among the most sought-after tourist routes in the area of Štúrovo, especially the southern slopes, where the tourist and recreational area of Kováčov is located in the cadastral territory of the village of Chľaba.
