The former Grand Café was built in 1889-1901. During the First Republic it became the property of the Agrasol company. After 1938, the Economic Gremium was based here; the ground floor was used as a café under the name Zlatý sud (Golden Barrel). After the end of World War II, the café was abolished and a branch of the Soviet Danube Flotilla moved into the building.
The building is located at the intersection of Lehárova Street and the Danube Embankment, near the drawbridge connecting the town with Elizabeth Island, whose continuation is the Elizabeth Bridge, the SR–HU border crossing.
The building has many preserved historical architectural elements. In its character it is a representative building.
