The Aeroclub Nové Zámky was established as a voluntary association of citizens under Act No. 83/1990 on the Voluntary Association of Citizens, who pursue hobby and sporting activities. Members of the Aeroclub Nové Zámky engage in glider and powered flying. The Aeroclub Nové Zámky, as a basic organisational unit, is part of SNA – the Slovak National Aeroclub of General M. R. Štefánik, headquartered in Žilina.
