The town’s special drawbridge was built in 1968 to connect Komárno with Elizabeth Island, as well as to allow larger ships to leave the shipyard. Its predecessor, the Small Danube Steel Bridge, was handed over to traffic on 21 November 1898. It was reconstructed in 2018.
