The work of sculptor Gy. Mag from 2009 is a monument to Csokonai’s love. Lilla came to the village of Moča through her second marriage. She did not live a happy life, she was childless. After the death of her first husband, at the age of 64, she married Mihály Végh, the parson of the village of Moča, and lived in the village for several years, then again in the village of Dunaalmás. At the age of 79, lying on her deathbed, her last will was that Csokonai’s ring be placed on her finger and that she be buried together with the poet’s farewell letter and collection of poems. And so it was done. On her tombstone, the name Lilla was engraved so that after death she would become his bride.
