On the boundary between the cadastres of Patince and Radvaň nad Dunajom stands a unique steam pumping station, built in 1897. (A commemorative plaque is placed on the wall of the collection basin: “VBT 1897”.) The pumping station consists of three parts: the boiler house with a tall chimney, the engine room and the collection reservoir. The internal technical equipment was manufactured by the Schlick foundry and machine works in Budapest. The station is a typical technical-purpose structure, whose pilasters and window surrounds are made of unplastered bricks. It has been preserved almost in its original state.
