The unknown soldier fell during the liberation of Komárno. He died in 1945.
The statue of the unknown soldier is located in M. R. Štefánik Park. This statue commemorates the heroism of the soldiers of the Danube Flotilla. It was unveiled in 1965 and is the work of Ľudmila Cvengrošová.
