Svodín Wine Harvest

Description

Svodín Wine Harvest (Svodínske vinobranie / Szőgyényi szüreti mulatság) is an annual autumn celebration in the village of Svodín that marks the end of the harvest season in one of the most significant winegrowing regions of south-west Slovakia. Svodín has a long tradition of grape cultivation and winemaking, which is an inseparable part of its identity and culture.

During the wine harvest, visitors taste local wines directly from regional winemakers, watch demonstrations of traditional grape processing and enjoy folklore performances, folk music and dance. The event is a great opportunity to explore life in a winegrowing village, savour home cooking and experience the atmosphere of golden autumn in the land of the vine.
