Jókai Days

Description

Komárno, the birthplace of the renowned Hungarian writer Mór Jókai, pays tribute to its most famous native son every year in June. Jókai Days is a cultural event with a long-standing tradition, bringing together lovers of literature, theatre and music from Slovakia and Hungary.

The programme includes performances by the Jókai Theatre, literary readings, musical performances, exhibitions and accompanying gastronomy. Year after year, the event reminds visitors that Komárno is a city with a rich cultural and literary heritage.
